Stroytransgaz To Test Taweelah–Fujairah Gas Pipeline in UAE

Having filled the pipeline with gas, Stroytransgaz tested the mainline part and the block valve stations for leakage. After the tests proved to be successful, the pipeline was commissioned. Stroytransgaz has been working in the UAE since 2008. The construction of Taweelah–Fujairah Gas Pipeline is the first large-scale fuel-and-energy project implemented in the UAE by a Russian construction company. The client company is Dolphin Energy Limited and the contract is executed on EPC basis. The capacity of the transnational Taweelah–Fujairah Gas Pipeline (244 km long, 48” in diameter) is 1.6 billion cubic metres of gas per day.
