This increase was due to the commissioning of new producing wells and applying of the artificial lifting technology to the wells which have been drilled in the past.
Most of the growth in oil and condensate production was achieved at the Yaraktinsky field, where the Company produced 459,300 tons (an 81% increase to January-October of 2009).
Irkutsk Oil Company expects a total production of 650,000 tons of oil and condensate in a year of 2010, which would be 1.7-fold increase over the last year production.
In the beginning of 2011, the company’s fields are scheduled for connection to the Transneft’s ESPO pipeline, which will have considerable positive effect on oil transportation and enable the company to further increase oil and gas condensate production.
