Turboatom" will update the unit No 3 of Zuevskaya TPP (Donetsk region., Ukraine)

OJSC "Turboatom" and company LLC "Vostokenergo" (DTEK) signed a contract for the reconstruction of power unit No 3 of Zuevskaya TPP. This work is the completion of the updating project of Zuevskaya TPP, this is the last fourth power unit, which will update Turboatom.

The plant has already implemented a reconstruction block number 1 and number 2. Today, the production is set to unit No 4.
At Zuevskaya TPP is conducted on- unit reconstruction, including updating of the turbine, cattle, electrostatic precipitator, CDF (complex determined facility), electric equipment. OJSC
“Turboatom" was the general contractor of this project. On the block No 3 company will upgrade the turbine K-300-240-2 with a full replacement of the flow low pressure cylinder. The plant also will work to restore the flow of the cylinder of high and medium pressure. The reconstruction increment of the installed capacity of 25 MW of power, efficiency, low pressure cylinder will ncrease to 88% of life unit to rise by 15-20 years.
Plant startup is scheduled for July 2013.
In the late 70's. “Turboatom” manufactured and installed on TPP Zuevskaya turbine K-300 300 MW. All in all Ukrainian thermal power plants found 42 such turbines. Similar projects are being implemented in Kazakhstan and Russia.
Zuyevskaya TPP (2 unit with a capacity of 300 MW and 2 with a capacity of 320 MW) is a member LLC “Vostokenergo” (DTEK), (Donetsk). This is a private power generating company in Ukraine, it is composed Zuyevskaya, Kurakhovskaya and Luhansk power plants. Total installed capacity of power companies on 1 January 2010 was 4,117 MW.
