«Krasny Kotelshchik» fabricated tube system PN-3000 for Balakovskaya Nuclear Power Plant

Having the previous dimensions (length – 6 m 13 mm, diameter – 3 m 400 mm, height – 3 m 500 mm, heat exchanging tubes’ diameter – 16x1 mm), the new equipment has a number of specific differences.  
When developing the new tube system design, not only use of Russian stainless steel grade 08Х18Н10Т (08Kh18N10T) was provided, but also the internal design of the tube system itself was basically changed, that significantly improved the reliability and operational efficiency of the whole heater.
It should be mentioned that the tube system is designed for installation and operation as a part of low pressure heater. The new equipment shall be mounted in the existing housing PN-3000 of the Balakovskaya NPP, retaining the feed water upper bypass chamber and the feed water lower delivery chamber.
