Novovoronezh NPP: The plan of the year is executed by 100,03%

From the beginning of 2010 the Novovoronezh NPP has generated 11714,7 million kWh of electric power. The annual plan for the electric power generation approved by the FTS of Russia is executed by 100,03%. The integrated power grid has received 10866,9 million kWh (100,6% of the plan) from the beginning of 2010.

Now power units № 3 and № 4 of the Novovoronezh NPP are operated in the designated mode. Power unit № 5 was stopped in September, 2010 for the works to be done to extend its operation life.
Conditions and limits of safe operation of the power units of the Novovoronezh NPP in November, 2010 were completely met.
According to the automated monitoring system the radiation environment around the Novovoronezh NPP and within 30-kilometre control zone does not differ from the natural background and correspond to the long-term values of the natural radiation for the given district.
