"Varioganneft" is planning to increase the extent of production by 2.8 million tons in 2011

Exclusive achievements were reached by horizontal drilling of the facilities of well-pad No 159A at Zapadno-Variogansky license area, says the press-service of the oilfield. For the moment of launch of well No 15911 the oilmen received the peak flow-rate for the region – more than 1000 tons of hydrocarbons per year. Today the average daily figure for well No 15911 is about 500 tons per day. The workovers  program at Variogansky upstraem block is completed in full. From the beginning of the current year 328 geologic and engineering operations were fulfilled. The daily average increment of the flow rate resulted from GEO amounted to 9.4 tons which in aggregate  made 400 thousand tons of oil. Hydrofracturing remains the most efficient GEO.  In 2010 43 hydrofrcturing were performed and the average efficiency made 17.7 tons  of hydrocarbons per day.
Such GEOs as recompletions, perforemed at 60 wells as well as processing of bottom-hole areas also proved to be very effuicuent.  Among new technical decisions applied in the Company one may point out “TSP on a packer”, which enables the oilmen to reduce substantially the costs for expensive squeeze jobs. The Company is planning to increase the extent of production up to 2.8 million tons.  
OAO”Varioganneft” is incorporated in OAO NK “RussNeft”. The Company is developing six oilfields in Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts: Varioganskoye, Novoaganskoye, Valiuninskoye, Tagrinskopye, Zapadno-Varioganskoye, Yuzhno-Yarainerskoye,  the northern  part  of Tagrinskoye oilfield.
