In accordance with the contract “Turboatom” will replace the cylinder of high (CHP), middle pressure (CMP) and the first stream of low pressure (LP) runner blades and diaphragms of the last (5 th) stage of the second and third streams HP; block valve HPC and TsSD.Zavod also implemented the introduction of electro-hydraulic control system based on software and hardware complex turbine control system and the introduction of the hydrostatic lift rotors. Turbine K-300-240-2, has exhausted its resources, would be replaced by a unit of K-325-23,5.
As a result of updating increase in power turbine of 20 MW, efficiency of CHP at maximum steam passes will increase by 3,3 % and reached 89,3 %, the efficiency of TsSD increased by 2,5 % to 93,6 %, the efficiency of LPC increased to 84,4 %. Reduction of specific consumption of heat will be at least 32.5 kcal / kWh.
The reconstruction is aimed at improving the reliability, efficiency and extending the life of the turbine. In addition, after upgrading equipment to reduce expenses for its maintenance and repair, as well as to increase turnaround time and the turbine unit as a whole.
Zaporizhie TPP of capacity 3600 MW is located on the left bank Kakhovskogo reservoir and provides electricity to southern regions of Ukraine. The station is part of the Dneproenergo. The first phase of the station consists of four units with turbines K-300-240-2 rated capacity of 300 MW set by OJSC “Turboatom” in 1972 as the second stage comprises three power units of 800 MW.
