"Turboatom" dispatched the equipment for TPP Starobeshevo

OJSC "Turboatom" made and out to the customer a part of equipment for the power unit No 5 TPP Starobeshevo (Ukraine). The plant shipped eight diaphragms low-pressure cylinder (LPC), two of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th stage, and the clip and seal LPC, measuring devices, tools and accessories, spare parts for warranty and after warranty period of more than $ 17 million hryvnas.

Contract with OJSC “Donbassenergo” to upgrade the unit No 5 Starobeshevo TPP was signed in June 2010 in accordance with the contract of “Turboatom” make reconstruction of the flow low-pressure cylinder with the replacement of the rotor, diaphragms, clips, seals, and the middle part of the body LPC. The contract also provides for the design and supply of equipment, demolition, construction and installation, commissioning and guarantee tests.
Now in production on the machining is a low-pressure rotor shaft line. Supply of equipment for this order is scheduled for completion in April of this year.
This is the second unit of TPP Starobeshevo, which will update “Turboatom”. In 2004, the plant has reconstructed the block No4, a similar project implemented in the block No 7 of TPP Kurakhovskaya (Donetsk region). In 2010 completed delivery of equipment for the unit No 10 TPP Luhansk (Lugansk region).
