Start-up operations were carried out in several stages: testing installed equipment before the start in offline mode, turbine commissioning at idle. And the final step - to set the turbine to the grid for the development of power, during which the turbine is gradually gaining a nominal capacity of 325 MW, with the monitored control system, as well as heat, vibration and other characteristics. After that will be held guarantee tests, and power unit will be put into commercial operation. All work will be completed before the end of February.
This is the third unit, commissioned with the equipment of OJSC “Turboatom”. Previously, were put turbines sets on the blocks No 1, 3. Today in the manufacture of equipment for the unit is number 6.
On the block No 2 “Turboatom” will replace the set K-300-240 to the turbine of new generation of K-325-23, 5. After upgrading the turbine capacity has increased by 25 MW, and increased service life of power unit and the entire plant, as well as to reduce specific fuel consumption by 5%, which in turn will improve the environmental performance of TPP.
On all eight blocks of TPP Aksu, beginnings from 1968 were installed steam turbines of OJSC “Turboatom” production.
