A training seminar in Rosatom Production Systems (PSR) development was organized in MCC OJSC

The first training seminar in 2011 in Rosatom Production System development held by the representatives of TVEL Fuel Company and PSR OJSC took place in MCC OJSC (a part of Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL).

Sergey Dumchev, PSR OJSC training consultant, underlined: “The production system based on the method of Toyota Corporation is acknowledged as the most effective one not only in Rosatom State Corporation, but also all over the world, because it allows to advance an enterprise effectiveness quickly and without attraction of a large amount of capital investments and other resources.”
The representatives of pilot sections of Sublimating, Radiochemical Plants and Isotopes Separation Plant and the specialists of the MCC OJSC combine management departments took part in the training seminar. The seminar was devoted to studies of PSR ideology and philosophy and to standardized work as one of the system instruments. Having studied the theory the participants of the seminar visited the MCC OJSC plants for practicing. There at the definite working places the work of the department employees was observed. On the basis of standardized work methods, the losses of working hours were defined, i.e. actions that do not add to the product’s value. According to the 3-day plant practice results the seminar participants presented their proposals aimed at improvements that, in the end, would make their labour at the production site more productive, qualitative and secure.
The meeting of the coordinators of the development of PSR combine sections for the purpose of working out the further plan of the events based on the proposals sounded became the result of the seminar work.
