The seismic party is carrying out the processing of the Common Mid Point (CMP) 2-D seismic exploration data profile (common-depth point method) at a distance of 60 kilometres from the Sargazon field in the Vakhshsky Valley.
The data profile allows the data obtained using the 3-D CMP method in the little-studied area of Sargazon to be compared with the structure of the Vakhshsky Valley which has already been explored for its subsequent complex processing and interpretation.
3-D seismic survey tests in this area were completed in September 2010.
In total, 3-D seismic survey work was conducted in the Sargazon field in 2009-2010 over an area of 214 km² and exploratory work over an area of 326 km².
The operator is currently continuing to process and interpret the geophysical materials recovered during the geological exploration studies in this area.
