TNK-BP continues to reduce retail fuel prices

On February, 15 TNK-BP announced that it has further reduced retail fuel prices. The price decrease went into effect at 17:00 (Moscow) at all of the company’s retail filling stations in the Russian Federation.

Retail prices for A-92 fuel were reduced by 0.3 rubles per liter, while prices for A-95 fuel were lowered by 0.2 rubles per liter.
Furthermore, TNK-BP is decreasing prices for winter diesel fuel by 0.4-0.6 rubles per liter in Moscow, Yaroslavl, Pskov, Ryazan, Rostov, Kostroma regions and the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district.
TNK-BP is Russia’s third largest oil company, 50% held by BP and 50% held by the AAR Consortium (Alfa Group, Access Industries, and Renova). TNK-BP also owns close to 50% of another Russian oil and gas company, Slavneft. TNK-BP accounts for approximately 16% of Russia’s production (including its share of Slavneft). SEC proved reserves (life of field basis) were 8.586 billion boe as of December 31, 2009.
