The design has been completed by one of the leading design institutes of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The design of the first stage incorporates construction of the entire infrastructure of CHP-3, including railway station, outside pipelines and networks, fuel handling facilities, water treatment, office buildings, and engineering services on site, as well as hot water boiler house with installed heating capacity 480 Gcal/h. Four modern boilers are expected to be installed in the boiler house. They will use Ekibastuzsky coal ensuring high efficiency and compliance with NOх limits through application of technological methods of combustion in the furnace. Technological solutions approved for the project will ensure reliable operation of the new power generating facility in the capital of Kazakhstan.
