The commercial speed from the start of drilling the well amounts to 572.8 metres per month. The mechanical speed is 2.98 metres per hour.
The drilling is being carried out with the help of a technologically advanced optimal vertical well-shaft support system, Verti-Trak. By using this technology, the maximum deflection of the well shaft from the vertical is no more than 0.7º.
Gazprom zarubezhneftegaz is continuing to deliver equipment to the drilling field, within the context of drilling the Shakhrinav-1P well.
All in all, 169 rail wagons, 26 motor transport units and 20 airfreight loads of equipment and materials have been delivered to the Republic since the start of mobilisation (in May 2009).
12 rail wagons and 2 trucks are currently on their way with goods for drilling the well.
Gazprom zarubezhneftegaz started drilling the Shakhrinav-1P exploratory well on 7 December 2010.
The projected depth of the well amounts to 6,300 metres.
Gazprom zarubezhneftegaz is carrying out geological exploration in 4 oil-and-gas prospective fields in Tajikistan: Sarikamysh, Sargazon, Rengan and West Shokhambari.
