"Turboatom" has completed work on a major contract to supply equipment for NPP in India

OJSC "Turboatom" completed in the manufacture of large-scale energy contract to supply turbines for four units of the Indian NPP, "Kaiga-3, 4” and “RAPP-5.6”. After spending pre-commissioning and guarantee tests in commercial operation was commissioned last unit "Kaiga-4”.

Appropriate certificate “Turboatom” received from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India, NPCIL. According to the certificate of turbine is ready for a stable continuous operation at the established parameters, and the maximum power level.
In accordance with the contract signed with the corporation NPCIL in 2002, the plant was first put steam turbines for nuclear power plants in the Indian market. For NPP "Kaiga-3, 4” and “RAPP-5, 6," the company manufactured and supplied four turbines of unit capacity of 240 MW.
The first commercial operation in June 2007 was introduced the power unit of NPP "Kaiga-3. In February 2010 - NPP RAPP-5, in April 2010 – NPP "RAPP-6” and in February of this year - block NPP “Kaiga-4”. Total power turbine manufactured by “Turboatom” on Indian nuclear power plants amounted to nearly 1000 MW.
OJSC “Turboatom" acted as General Contractor for the Indian contract for the supply of 4 sets of power equipment (turbine, condenser, generator, separator, control system and auxiliary equipment). Subcontractors are Kharkov plants " Electrotyazhmash Plant "State Instrument-Making Plant Shevchenko and IK “Ziomar” (Podolsk, Russia).
