Vietgazprom specialists undergo professional training in Singapore

Representatives from the Joint Operating Company Vietgazprom have started training on FMC Technologies’ Underwater Technology and Equipment programme. The course is taking place at FMC's training centre in Singapore. Staff from Gazprom zarubezhneftegaz and its representative office are also in the group that is taking part in the course.

The training programme specifically covers subjects like an overview of underwater systems, deposit development, constructing underwater equipment, underwater production packages, and well-completion systems.
Vietgazprom, which has considerable experience of carrying out exploration work on the Vietnamese shelf, plans to use the latest advancements in its area of operations. Within this context, great emphasis is placed within the company on increasing the professional level and qualifications of its staff.
FMC Technologies works in the field of construction, production, supply and maintenance services for drilling and well equipment for offshore projects. With this in mind, major assembly nodes that serve all the regions carrying out offshore development have been created at key points.
The possibility for training specialists from Gazprom's subsidiary companies, including Vietgazprom, at FMC Technologies’ training centre was discussed by representatives of the companies in August last year.
