Naryanmarneftegas has begun to supply associated petroleum gas as a fuel for boiler house of Varandey terminal company

At Y.K. CPF amine treatment facility has been put into operation in order to scavenge associated gas from hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide, making it suitable for use on own needs - as a fuel for heating of crude oil and feeding power turbines at the Energy Center. In addition, in order to increase the level of utilization of associated petroleum gas and reduce the volume of crude oil usage modernization of the boiler house of OAO Varandey OTF in December 2010 was carried out i.e. conversion of boilers to gas fuel has taken place. Also, at the Company’s fields preparations are being actively continued for construction and commissioning of facilities that are part of program to increase the level of utilization of associated petroleum gas. It is planned to implement the following activities: for Perevoz field conversion of diesel Power plants on dual-fuel mode: "a mixture of gas - diesel fuel, and construction of multiphase pumping facility, that will enable to transfer wells product to Varandei CPF. For Varandey and Toravey fields: construction of heat exchangers on Varandey CPF will provide heat removal from the boiler house of Varandey OTF in summer and increase gas utilization coefficient.
