"Turboatom" has started production of equipment for HPP Charvak

OJSC "Turboatom" (Ukraine) began production of the disk gate number 1 for the hydro turbine Charvak. The company carries replacement delivered earlier inlet valve with a diameter of 5 m at the hydro Charvak HPP (Uzbekistan).

A total of 1969 plant delivered to the station four butterfly valves with a flat disc with a diameter 5m.The equipment will be made of modern materials with increased reliability, improve performance and lifetime extension. Today, engineering services “Turboatom” complete technical documentation and handed the project into production. Within 340 days of closure will be manufactured and delivered to the station.
Contract for supply equipment OJSC “Turboatom" was signed on 25 February this year. Under the terms of the contract obligations of the plant includes design, manufacture, supply, installation supervision and commissioning of the valve.
