"Turboatom" extended the permit for the certification of welders

OJSC "Turboatom" received the permission for the certification of welders for another three years. For this plant, in accordance with the rules of certification of welders in Ukraine has a special commission, activities which must be renewed every three years.

It includes employees of companies that have passed compulsory education in IES of Paton. Chairman of the committee shall be the head of welding company - certified as an expert (Ukrainian Attestation Committee welders) UAKS. Commission for certification of welders of “Turboatom” is headed by chief welder Alexander Vavilov.
To confirm the knowledge and skills of welders’ certification is conducted every two years. There are different types of certification: by type of steel and welding method. Certification includes testing of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In testing theoretical knowledge welder passes an oral examination and practical skills of certifying commission checks in the performance of the control joint. Today the main production shops of the enterprise employs more than 100 welders.
