On March 10, 2011, the board of directors at INTER RAO UES made a decision on placement, approved a prospectus and a decision about issuing exchange-traded bonds (interest-bearing inconvertible paper bearer bonds with obligatory centralized storage) of INTER RAO UES in order to raise funds for financing the circulating capital, general corporate needs and refinancing current liabilities.
The program of exchange-traded bonds consists of 16 issues. The minimal volume of one issue is 5 billion rubles, while the maximum is 10 billion rubles. The nominal cost of one security totals 1,000 rubles; the securities mature in three years.
The decision on the tranche placement date may be taken at any moment, depending on the volume of the company’s demand and the debt market trend.
