Increase of the turnaround time of work at the wells of the Company is contributed by application of advanced technologies, introduction of modern equipment and improvement of the repair works quality. For example, the package of organizational and technological measures aimed at solving the problem of preventing and removing asphaltene/resin/paraffin deposits (ARPD) developed by the experts of TATNEFT has proved its effectiveness. Formation of the ARPD on the downhole equipment used to lead to considerable complications in the operation of producing wells. For the purpose of controlling the ARPD the Company applies highly efficient and low-cost techniques, such as rods with scrapers/centralizers and polymer coated tubing. There were specialized work sections established at TATNEFT for pressurized build-up of nylon scrapers/centralizers on the rod body surface, and the Company started production of polymer-coated (PEP-585) tubing at the Bugulma Mechanical Plant. Currently, 99.2 percent of "complicated" wells have been equipped with these types of equipment. Implementation of the mentioned measures allowed reducing the number of the well remedial servicing operations resulting from asphaltene/resin/paraffin deposition more than 10-fold.
The number of the well remedial servicing operations resulting from downhole pumping equipment failure due to emulsion formation was reduced through extensive application of the input devices (development of TatNIPIneft), which provide for alternate supply of oil and water to the pump intake. Application of the mentioned input devices allowed reducing the number of the well remedial servicing operations resulting from downhole pumping equipment failure due to emulsion formation by 4 times.
