Tire Manufacturers of Tatneft Continued Cooperation with the Volkswagen Concern

More than 135,000 tires produced by OAO Nizhnekamskshina (part of Tatneft-Neftekhim Management Company) were shipped to Kaluga Volkswagen Group Rus factory during the year of mutually beneficial cooperation with the tire manufacturing complex of TATNEFT Delivery of tires for the assembly of a new car model Volkswagen Polo Sedan at the Russian factory of Volkswagen in Kaluga is performed by the general distributor of tires "Kama" Trading House, which is part of TATNEFT Group of companies.

KAMA EURO-129 and KAMA EURO-236 tires have been delivered to the factory in Kaluga since May 2010. Co-operation of Volkswagen and Nizhnekamsk tire manufacturers is developing. As of today the Company is actively negotiating to supply tires for Skoda and VW Tiguan crossover in the size group of R16 and R17.
None of the Russian tire manufacturers ever produced tires for passenger crossover cars with 17 radius before OAO Nizhnekamskshina, and usage of Nizhnekamsk tire manufacturers’ products for the assembly of cars by the German company is the evidence of these tires high quality.
