TGC1 feasts the 75 anniversary of the Polar Energetic

75 years ago there was set Territorial energy department on the Kola peninsula - the very beginning of the Polar energy system of the TGC1.

Today the Kola branch of TGC-1 JSC includes 17 plants in four cascades of hydroelectric stations on the Kola Peninsula and Apatity cogeneration plant, which is one of the region’s largest cogeneration plants.
Total amount of Kola branch power capacity is 1 912 MW with 1 589 produced by the hydro power plants.
