«Verkhnechonskneftegaz»: oil production exceesed 5 million tonnes

The VC Field production grows steadily – in 2009, oil production amounted to 1.189 mln tonnes, whereas in 2010, it achieved 2.6 mln tonnes. It is planned to produce 4.6 mln tonnes in 2011.
Currently, the number of producing wells in the company is more than 100, daily production reached the level of 12 thousand tonnes. Wells showing the best performance are located in Field Sector 5 that was commenced in the end of last year.
VCNG make extensive use of new technologies for development of the field areas with complex geological structure – they are the first to use frac in East Siberia, implement ambitious geosteering programme and find ways for better downhole treatment and well completion.
