For its production were formed special teams of welders and metalworkers. Work in the shops was in three shifts - day and night.
The novelty and uniqueness of this project lies in the fact that for the first time on "Turboatom" condenser was made as modular configuration. Also in this case for the first time in the pipe systems were used titanium alloys. Introduced new processes for trimming, rolling and welding of tubes - is advanced modern technology, which «Turboatom» worked with the Institute of Electric Welding named after E.O. Paton. These design decisions allow maintaining performance, reliability and safety of nuclear power steam generators, except for getting into the condensate-tract nutrient harmful elements.
The contract for condenser supply was concluded in July 2010. This design consists of three casings with six units each. Shipment of the equipment began in August 2011. In December, the plant produced the last four modules of the third case of condenser, the shipment scheduled before the end of the month. Now the station started construction works with the supervision-engineer of the plant.
The introduction of such a project - a unique experience for «Turboatom», which will be used in subsequent works related to the manufacture of capacitors to the Kalinin and Balakov NPPs (Russia).
