In accordance with the contractual obligations of OJSC «Turboatom» will carry out the design, manufacture and supply of high-pressure cylinder, three low-pressure cylinders, steam distribution system and control system, a system of oil supply, condenser and other auxiliary equipment.
In the production of new equipment will be applied new technology of rotor welding, casting of parts, and will continue the modernization of machinery equipment of the plant.
Delivery times of condenser - July 2014, turbine - March 2015.
Manufacturing will be under agreed schedule for 2012-2014 and shipping of separate parts - in 2014-2015.
The total weight of the equipment is about 5000 tons.
The term of commissioning of unit No 4 of Rostov Power Plant is scheduled for June 2017.
The contract price is over than 100 million dollars.
Rostov NPP operating two units with turbines capacity of 1000 MW, manufactured by OJSC «Turboatom»: unit number 1 commissioned in 2001, unit No 2 – 2010.
After commissioning of unit No 3 of Rostov NPP in 2014-2015 it will be a 19th turbine – «one million» made and commissioned by OJSC «Turboatom». At this moment 18 similar turbines are in successful operation at NPPs of Ukraine, Russia and Bulgaria (South-Ukrainian, Zaporizhzhya, Kalinin, Balakovo, Rostov NPP and Kozloduy NPP). These plants have proven themselves in service, the first turbine already worked about 200 thousand hours. A distinctive feature of 1000-1100 MW turbines - is slow-speed execution (1500 rev / min), which gives several advantages in terms of efficiency, reliability, security, ease of use and maintainability.
