Completed manufacture of equipment for updating of TPP Zuevskaya

OJSC "Turboatom" produced a low-pressure rotor - the last equipment for the turbine K-300-240 block № 4 of Zuevskaya TPP (Ukraine). The rotor was balanced and approved by the customer. Equipment is ready for shipment.

The output unit out of service for repairs scheduled for March 2012, by which time all equipment will be delivered to the assembly area.

The contract for the updating of "Turboatom" and company LLC "Vostokenergo" signed in May 2010. By its terms, the plant will replace the unit K-300-240-2 with production of low-pressure cylinder of the new generation. After the reconstruction the capacity of the power unit will increase by 25 MW, the efficiency will increase by 3%.

This is the third on counting power unit of Zuevskaya TPP, which updates "Turboatom": in December 2009 was commissioned upgraded turbine on the block No 1, in November 2008 - on the block No 2. In December 2010 the enterprise signed a contract for the reconstruction of the block No 3, which commissioning is planned for July 2013.

On all four blocks of Zuevskaya TPP since 1970 are installed turbines K-300-240 with unit capacity of 300 MW of production of OJSC "Turboatom".
