The camp will provide accommodation for more than 100 shift workers. In addition to comfortable accommodation buildings, the camp facilities also include a canteen, first-aid post, laundry, parking area, water supply and sewage system, including water wells, water treatment plant and wastewater treatment unit. Construction has been carried out by local contractors.
The camp provides comfortable accommodation for shift workers taking into account extremely harsh climatic conditions of the Kyzylkum desert (anomalously high temperature in summer, strong winds, low humidity, and absence of precipitations and natural sources of water) as well as high seismic activity in this area.
Completion of the accommodation camp marks yet another milestone in the implementation of the large Kandym project. The production complex of Kandym gas field will include more than 100 producing wells, a gas gathering system, gas compressor stations, liquid hydrocarbons and granulated sulfur loading terminals, a gas processing plant to handle 8.1 billion cubic meters of gas per year, a 60-km export pipeline, a railway branch of over 40 km, a network of roads, water and power supply facilities.
