Order for Balakovskaya NPP is closed in the production

Work on this order was carried out in three shifts. The first shipment of equipment began in July.

Contract for the supply capacitor "Turboatom" signed in April 2011. Under its terms the plant carries out replacement of the turbine condenser with capacity of 1,000 MW with copper-nickel tubes for cooling the condenser with stainless steel pipe systems. As a result of this work turbine capacity will increase by more than 5 MW. Also will increase the life of equipment, will increase reliability and safety.

Also for the plant "Turboatom" will supply two sets of pipe systems capacitor CP-1650 production Kaluga Turbine Plant (Russia) turbines OK-12A. The contract for this order was signed this spring.

Balakovskaya NPP is Russia's largest producer of electricity. Each year, it produces more than 30 billion kilowatt in an hour of electricity • providing a quarter of electricity production in the Volga Federal District and the fifth generation of Russian nuclear power plants. On all four of Balakovskaya NPP installed turbines "Turboatom" unit capacity of 1,000 MW, of their supplies were carried from 1985 to 1993.
