Enel Green Power España begins construction of its second 50 MW PV plant in Carmona

Endesa, through its renewable subsidiary Enel Green Power España (EGPE), has started construction on its second photovoltaic (PV) plant of around 50 MW in the town of Carmona, Seville province, Spain. The construction of this PV plant, known as "Los Naranjos", to be completed by the end of 2020, will involve an investment of 28.2 million euros.

In 1Q 2020 Hevel Group has launched production of heterojunction solar cells based on M2+ silicon wafers. A slight area increase has allowed to raise the HJT solar cell peak power up to 5,88 Wp with maximum cell efficiency rate of 23,8%, while maintaining an average of 23,3%.

Enefit Green produced 450 GWh of renewable energy in the first quarter
