Enefit Green's renewable electricity production grew by 30% year-on-year in July

Eesti Energia's renewable energy company Enefit Green produced 84 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity in July, increasing its output by 30% compared to a year ago. In July 2019, Enefit Green's renewable electricity production reached 64 gigawatt-hours (GWh).

The bundle is a replacement for one of the heat exchangers that is used to treat the natural gas produced for export to the shore at the Piltun-Astokhskoye field. The operations were carried out as part of the platform’s scheduled turnaround campaign and maintenance activities.

Eesti Energia's renewable energy subsidiary, Enefit Green, produced 737 gigawatt-hours of renewable electricity in the first six months of 2020, which is 18% more than during the same period in 2019. In 2019, the company’s production in the first half of the year reached 626 gigawatt-hours.
