Gazprom Neft starts drilling in Iraq

On 24 November, drilling of the first appraisal well in the Iraqi Badra oil deposit, operated by Gazprom Neft, commenced. The depth of the appraisal well will reach 4,900m. Drilling is expected to be completed in April 2012.

TATNEFT Has Improved Mean Time between Failures of Wells Operation

As of November 1, 2011 the total mean time between failures (MTBF) of the wells operation at OAO TATNEFT reached the level of 1136 days. The mean time between failures is an estimated figure of the wells operation and the operation of downhole pumping systems.

Execution of the Resource Saving Program in the Third Quarter of 2011

The economic effect of carrying out the activities of OAO TATNEFT's resource saving program amounted to 620 million rubles in the third quarter of the current year. Energy resources savings amounted to 26,271 tons of standard fuel making 170% to the annual plan.
