Gross production for the first quarter totaled 13.43 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 1.03 million tons of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil). Gross natural gas production increased by 3.45 billion cubic meters, or by 34.6%, and gross liquids production increased by 159 thousand tons, or by 18.4%, as compared with the corresponding gross production in the first quarter 2010.

Production Output at the Vankor Field Reaches 20 Million Tonnes

On 6 April at 12:20 AM Moscow time, the 20-millionth tone of crude oil was extracted from the depths of the Vankor oil field in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region. Currently Vankor produces 39 thousand tons of crude oil per day. According to Vankorneft’s business plan, in 2011, production from the field will reach 14.8 million tons.
