Statoil: Long-term contract for new rig design

Statoil is sending out an invitation to tender for a new type of drilling rig. It is specially-designed by the industry on behalf of Statoil for use on mature fields on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The purpose is to make drilling and completion of production wells less expensive, more effective and safer, and thereby boost oil recovery.

"Turboatom" completed in 2010 with a net profit in the amount of 188.8 mln., With the growth rate by 2009 to 150%. Actual production volume for 2010 was - 930.3 mln. the plan - 769.2 mln. which is performed at 120.9% with a growth rate of the corresponding period in 2009 - 135%.

Nord Stream Lines 1 and 2 on track

Construction of the Nord Stream Pipeline continues on track. Over 1,000 kilometres of Line 1 have been laid in the Baltic Sea and pipe-laying works have already been completed at the landfalls for Line 2. The project has received all the necessary permits, and all pipes and construction capacities have been procured.
