TGC-1 releases 2010 operational results

Electricity generation (including subsidiary – Murmanskaya CHPP) for the full year amounted to 27,162 GWh (thermal generation – 14,239 GWh, hydro generation – 12,923 GWh) which is 1,5% higher than in 2009 (26,761 GWh: thermal generation – 12,801 GWh, hydro generation – 13,960 GWh).

SIBUR and TNK-BP have agreed to expand their joint venture, Yugragazpererabotka LLC, by merging Nyagangazpererabotka LLC, a gas processing entity, held until this time by the petrochemical holding, with and into the JV.

Gazpromneft-Nefteservis Completes Sale of Muravlenko Transport Company

Gazpromneft-Nefteservis has completed the sale of Muravlenko Transport Company (Muravlenkovskaya Transportnaya Kompaniya) (MTK) previously incorporated into the company's transport block of three business units. MTK was bought by Nizhnevartovsk Utility Vehicles Department No. 1. The deal was passed by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation.

Gazprom Neft Makes Mandatory Share Purchase Offer to NIS Minority Shareholders

Gazprom Neft has today submitted an offer to buy out the free float shares in NIS, the Serbian oil company. The offer period will expire in 45 days. A maximum of 31,180,000 shares with voting rights (19.12 per cent of the equity) currently held by Serbian citizens, may become available for purchase.

Preliminary feasibility study to switch Cherepetskaya GRES to off-design fuel

COTES together with the Machine Building Factory of Podolsk has developed a preliminary feasibility study for refurbishment of boiler for power unit No. 7 of the Cherepetskaya GRES. Refurbishment will also cover fuel supply line and pulverized coal preparation system to switch the power unit to burning of off-design Kuznetsky long-flame gas coal.
