JSC “FGC UES” (Federal Grid), the operator and manager of Russia’s unified trunk electricity transmission grid system, announces today the approval of its investment programme for 2010-2014. The Board of Directors of Federal Grid approved an investment programme of RUB 952.4 billion (circa EUR 22.9 billion) covering a five year period from 2010 to 2014.

The RusHydro Group announces that it has consolidated approximately 25% of shares of JSC Krasnoyarsk HPP. The deal was carried out through a swap of 4.53% of JSC RusHydro's shares from the balance of JSC Hydroinvest, a 100%-owned subsidiary of JSC RusHydro, without any cash contribution.

DTEK, Ukraine’s leading fuel and energy company, announces that its subsidiaries Vostokenergo (Eastenergo)and PowerTrade have signed contracts with national grids operator Ukrenergo to access interborder connection to export electricity in 2011. In total both companies will pay UAH 201.5 thousand for exporting 1710 MW.
