Exploration and production contract for block 10 in Iraq is initialed

The Ministry of Oil of the Republic of Iraq initialed an exploration and production contract with the Consortium including LUKOIL Overseas (60%) and INPEX (40%) for Block 10 located 120 kilometers west of Basra in Di-Kar and Mutannah provinces.

In January-June, 2012, Slavneft’s Subsidiaries extracted 8.9 mln t of crude oil and 424.6 mln m3 of gas in accordance with the Business Plan. The crude oil production volume decreased by 0.5% and the gas production volume increased by 0.5% against the similar period of the previous year.
