E.ON suspends operation of its oldest nuclear power station Isar-1

E.ON is suspending the operation of its oldest nuclear power station Isar-1 for the duration of the German government’s moratorium. Preparations have already been started to take the reactor into a safe non-operational condition. The process will be carried out in the coming days in agreement with the relevant authorities.

Slavneft increased oil and gas reserves calculated under SEC criteria

As of December 31, 2010, the volume of the Slavneft’s audited proved oil reserves calculated under the Securities and Exchange Commission’s methods (SEC LOF) (excluding the licenses validity) amounted to 1,635.8 mln bbl. The Company's proved reserves volume increased by 152.1 mln bbl, or 10.3% as compared to 2009.

TNK-BP to Build Oil and Gas Treatment Unit at Zagorskaya Group of Fields

TNK-BP is planning to build an oil and gas treatment unit (OGTU) at the Zagorskaya group of fields in Novosergievskiy District as part of its Orenburg integrated project. The project will almost entirely eliminate flaring of associated gas and minimize air emissions within the region.
