Gazprom Neft Becomes Sole Shareholder of Sibir Energy

On February 14, the Board of Directors of Sibir Energy adopted a resolution to reduce the company's share capital by 86.25 mln. shares (22.39%). Affiliated to the Moscow government, Central Fuel Company (Tsentralnaya Toplivnaya Kompaniya, TsTK) took a decision to withdraw membership in Sibir Energy.

Kyiv, February 15, 2011. In 2010 DTEK’s enterprises significantly improved their operational results. The Company’s mines produced 19.2 million tonnes of coal; total electricity output increased to 30.7 million kWh, and electricity sales went up to 13.3 million kWh.

Alstom will be a major provider to the Belo Monte Dam hydropower plant in Brazil

Alstom has signed a contract worth approximately €500 million with Norte Energia of Brazil to provide power equipment for the Belo Monte Dam, the world’s third-largest hydroelectric power plant with a planned capacity of 11,230 MW. The Belo Monte project will dam the Xingu river in Brazil’s northern Pará state.

Cooperation Agreement Signed between Gazprom Neft and Yugra Administration

A three-year agreement for social and economic cooperation has been signed today between the Company and the Administration of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region (Yugra) in Khanty-Mansiysk. The agreement was signed by Chairman of Gazprom Neft Executive Board Alexander Dyukov and the Yugra Governor Natalia Komarova.
