Enel Green Power has begins construction of new wind farm in Mexico

The power plant, which is owned by Vientos del Altiplano S. de R.L., a subsidiary of Enel Green Power Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V, will have a total installed capacity of 100 MW and will be built in the municipalities of Mazapil and Villa de Cos, in the state of Zacatecas.

Bag filters with an efficiency of 99.9% have been installed on power units №4 and №5. The new fabric filters, now installed at three out of ten units of the power plant, would allow to reduce ash emissions in the atmosphere for a total of up to about 40 000 tons per year.
