In 2010 JSC «Slavneft-YANOS” processed 14.3 MTPA of crude

The volume of crude processing at JSC «Slavneft-YANOS" in 2010 comprised 14.3 million tons. This value is by 502.7 million tons higher than that of the business plan and by 4.7% higher than the similar value of the previous year. This is the highest volume of the processed crude at the refinery since 1992. The average feed conversion comprised 65.46%.

NOVATEK closes debut Eurobond issue

NOVATEK announced the closing of its debut Eurobond issue in an aggregate amount of US$ 1.25 billion. The Eurobond was approximately eight times oversubscribed and issued at par in two tranches, a five-year US$ 600 million bond with a coupon rate of 5.326% and a ten-year US$ 650 million bond with a coupon rate of 6.604%. The Eurobond coupons are payable semi-annually.

YANOS has started producing diesel fuel Euro-4 for Russian market

JSC "Slavneft-YANOS" ahead of schedule changed to production of winter diesel fuel for Russian consumers equal to class 4 as per RF Technical Regulations (meets European standards Euro-4). Diesel fuel class 4 is characterized by reduced sulfur content (50ppm), high cetane number and low content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

Nord Stream Completes Northern Section of Natural Gas Pipeline Through the Baltic Sea

Nord Stream today announced that the world’s largest pipelay vessel Solitaire has completed work on line 1 of the twin pipeline. Two of three sections of line 1 of the natural gas pipeline are now complete. In total, more than 83,300 pipe segments have been laid over a distance of 1,000 kilometres. The remaining part will be constructed by Saipem's Castoro Sei pipelay vessel by April 2011.

TATNEFT Is Introducing New Technologies for Well Workover

In 2011, OAO TATNEFT will continue to introduce new technologies in the field of well drilling and workover. Last year the Company performed pilot operations and mastered the technology of drilling derrick cellars with application of auger systems prior to the arrival of a drilling crew. Surface holes of 24 wells were drilled and cased in 2010 with application of this technology.

In 2010 Slavneft incremented 47 mln tons of С1 oil reserves

In 2010, ОАО NGK Slavneft managed to increment 47 mln tons of С1 oil recoverable reserves. At that, 18.4 mln tons of oil was produced over the reporting period. Thus, hydrocarbon reserves replacement ratio amounted to 255.4% at the Slavneft’s license areas.

TGC-1 creates repairs and maintenance JV with ElectroCentroMontazh

JSC “TGC-1” and JSC “ElectroCentroMontazh” announce the establishment of a special-purpose repairs and maintenance (R&M) joint venture (JV) LLC “TGC-1-Service”. The new company’s focus will be R&M of the main and auxiliary equipment of TGC-1’s combined heat and power plants and hydroelectric plants and that of other electric utilities companies of the North-West of Russia.

Gazprom’s Board of Directors resolves to primarily fund energy saving technologies

In particular, during gas transmission it is planned to widely utilize large diameter flow coated pipes and specialized equipment enabling to avoid gas losses in process and repair operations at the gas transmission system (GTS) facilities; energy efficient equipment for the GTS linear part, compressor and gas distribution stations; and programmed computer systems to simulate and optimize the GTS operation modes.
