EDF Energies Nouvelles has commissioned a 20.7MW wind farm in France

EDF Energies Nouvelles announces the commissioning, late December 2010, of the Corbières Méditerranée wind farm, which has an installed capacity of 20.7MW. Located in the Aude department, the Corbières Méditerranée wind farm is equipped with nine wind turbines supplied by German manufacturer Enercon, each with a unit capacity of 2.3MW.

Helping to meet China’s strict emission standards, Jiangsu Tianue Energy & Chemical Group Co. Ltd is building a high-efficiency gas turbine power plant to utilize industrial dismissed gas into power and steam to meet increasing energy needs in the region. The power plant will be equipped with three GE (NYSE: GE) aeroderivative gas turbines, which are the first LM2500+G4 units sold in China.

Novovoronezh NPP: The plan of the year is executed by 100,03%

From the beginning of 2010 the Novovoronezh NPP has generated 11714,7 million kWh of electric power. The annual plan for the electric power generation approved by the FTS of Russia is executed by 100,03%. The integrated power grid has received 10866,9 million kWh (100,6% of the plan) from the beginning of 2010.

Alstom has secured orders worth €340 million to rehabilitate and maintain a part of EDF’s nuclear fleet in France. Under the terms and conditions of the contracts, Alstom will supply stators for 900 MW and 1300 MW generators, rotors for 900 MW generators and lines of rotors for 900 MW steam turbines.
